Grounding

Grounding is something that must be done after any spiritual exercise and meditation. When we are linking into spirit we tend to float out the body, and when we come back we may feel dizzy and strange almost feeling high, this is because you are still floating, and even though when your in this floating stage your senses and psychic vision may be stronger you must ground.

It is unhealthy to be floating as we are humans and if we stay floating we tend not to look at things at a physical view and not see what is in front of us for what it is, our heads are in cloud nine so to speak. With out grounding you are more prone to spiritual attacks and your energy being drained by other people leaving you emotional and argument and tired. And when this happens it affect the charkas and is most probably going to block your root chakra, which is all linked to grounding and savival, and this then effects your auras on all levels and can make you ill. Grounding to mother earth is something we all must do. And to do this you must visualise yourself growing roots.

Grounding meditation exercise.
Stand still, and close your eyes, breath in and out with deep breaths, until you are relaxed, visulise and see your self as a tree, big and strong, see your roots growing into the ground deep, deep roots glowing red going down into the core of mother earth. And as your roots get to the core see a white light flowing down from your head and down to your feet and into your roots going down to the core.

Take three deep breaths and swing your arms. This meditation only takes at least five minuets and it truly helps. Open your eyes and live your every day life, do this once a day or after any spiritual exercises. To open back up just stand still and see yourself growing wings and start floating, but you must come back down to ground!

Another way to open and close is to see a flower or a rose and when you are grounded and closed the flower is a bud, when you are open and connected the bud grows into a flower opening up. And when you’re finished close the flower into a bud again. It is as simple as that, but you must have a good visualisation to do so.

Some people ground by drinking water and taking five minuets with your feet on the ground concentrating on the here and now. Some people have others visulise and ground them. There are many ways to ground yourself some people turn a light bulb on and off inside their mind, some open and close a door so there are many different ways you can ground yourself, you should test them to see what works best for you.
